Recession. You Sure?

I just seem to see more BMWs and Audis on the streets these few days.

I'm sure Van Persie can kill you with just a ball.

Life's screwing around with me huh?

Flipped open the straits time today and went to read the horoscope section under "Life"

Guess what they said?

Virgo
" Try not to worry too much if you are unhappily single. That could change very quickly. Your love life is getting a boost and it is almost certainly related to your work or school life"

Uh Huh?

And this came after what I said yesterday?

Life's screwing around with me man!

Mindless.

It makes a difference...

If you see life as many things to be happy over or

as life to have many things to fret over.

A huge

Difference.

Be Appreciative People!

The World is Small

Went facesurfing (coined a new term huh).

Was literally facesurfing on Facebook, looking through photos of friends and looking at their friends. And, surprisingly, found a few people that I actually know! Now going specific here, but guess that proves that Singapore is really really really small huh?

---------------------------------------

Recent series of events kinda proved to me that , yeah, "Love is Blind". Clarification! Not that I actually have a crush on anyone or what not... But have been observing and hearing some things here and there that sort of prove that yeah - Love is well and truly - BLIND.

Suppose it's the character that truly appeals? Something that makes someone shine after a while? Maybe so

Then this proves yet another saying : "Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder".

For once, these god damn sayings are not useless ramblings that people use to comfort one another. They actually make sense for once! Well, maybe at least for today. For all you know, I may wake up tomorrow and look back and think that it's all crap.

So yeah, mindless rambling.

I considered putting " Love is blind " and " Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder" as my msn nick, but upon further thought, found that it was real real misleading.

Yesterday, I wrote "I've never seen nobody shine the way you do", and BAM. My msn got flooded my people asking me. " WOAH SOMEONE IN LOVE AH!"..

So yeah, not gonna make the same mistake twice - I prefer some quiet personal time online, thank you.

Ok back to the topic.

I prefer being a spectator in these BGR "fiasco" and all. It just seems much much clearer from afar. And of course, it becomes much too troublesome to step in for a closer view. For all I know, things may unfold further on in my very short JC life - things that may cause me to regret what I've just said? Unexpected things? (NOT trying to suggest ANYTHING!)

Logic and reasoning just don't apply in the love. I finally understand that something cannot be understood. It makes sense ok!

If the word "that" is placed after "something", then yeah, it does not make any sense. But at the moment, it does.

CHMA

Really really really miss CHMA and all the preparations. Yes, i'm missing the preparations, all the planning, designing and brainstorming. It like suddenly a part of me - gone! When work starts to pile up, there is always CHMA and all to look forward to. Always looking forward to seeing the fruits of our labour on (insert CHMA dates for 04-08) and the running around and other crazy stuff.

Best of all was definitely the times we spent together as a CCA and as iMedia. The bubble teas, crapping sessions and the brainstorming sessions which often included a wide range of other issues that have NO relation to CHMA whatsover.

Somehow, I always get very very hyped up when CHMA is one week away. Those who have worked with me will know what I mean. I think for the whole week 70% of what came out from my mouth was regarding CHMA. I love the atmopshere for the entire week!

Eve of MA was also great! Every year, it was looking at the damn clock and waiting for the bell to sound. And every single time, we would cock up some excuse to leave class early, dump our bags in the studio and sit outside the hall, waiting for the familiar yellow van to drive into the plaza (forbidden now of course, thanks to a certain someone).

Then we would shout like mad asses for extra manpower and muscle strength to carry the mixer, the occasionally heavy snake, lighting systems and blah blah blah.

Sound checks on the eve were particularly loud. It was always an iPod and an audio cable that did the damage...

Blasting the music, commenting how great the bass sounded. TRYING our best to top the music that was playing over the speakers. And sometimes (sometimes) turing up the volume exceptionally loud when someone walks past the speakers.

Of course there was all the last-minute nonsense that came along.

The man made snake, the shouts backstage, the throwing of batteries, fanatic searches for mic clips and converters.

Tiring but great feeling.

Hope to be able to be part of the experience this year!

I had the best CHMA last year! Juniors, do cherish yours!

I want to see a great show! ( Don't wanna throw my face away if I were to bring back my classmates!)

Arsenal

Been a long while since I blogged and since Arsenal WON so convincingly.

Real long while - almost reminds (almost) me of the Highbury days...

The best moment of the match?

When we were leading by 2 goals to nil and when van persie was going to be substituted on, the commentator said..

"Oh Dear.. Look who's coming on... More firepower!"

Great match! Champions league next!!

JC Life has been rather alright so far, still getting used to having members of the opposite sex in school. ( I mean, 10 years, guys school..)

Projects piling up, reminds me of the sec2 life...

And I just realised that 7 subjects can be a heavier workload than 9 subjects....
