At Least some luck...

At last, after 2 days of little luck during the checking of scripts, Friday could be seen from my perspective as a day of better luck....

Results and Subjects that i had expected to have A2 had been pushed to A1, thanks to previous terms and also class test results... Thank God! Also A1s have been pushed up higher my a notch.... Well still hoping to receive the Edusave Scholarship of 500bucks later on in the year... Hopefully...

This year, in the academic aspect of year 2007, have probably seen myself not perform as well as i had intended or wanted to. Factors leading to it? Maybe, the shifting down of a gear in the 'hardworkingness' and maybe the increased responsibility in CCA aspect. At least now i know where to work on and learn that i should probably start for the "O"s earlier than planned.

Open house this year was almost as dead as the previous year, only up by just that little bit. Could be seen that more people were coming for this year's open house.

As usual, was in the studio, editing some things here and there... At least in the past 2 days have been able to get the Mackie Control and the M-One up and running again thanks to the help of SW... haha still remembering SW calling us B. for going behind the 'jungle' of wires and fixing up everything....

O Level chinese soon, trying my best to improve.... Hope to get at least an A2 such that i would not have to drop HCL next year...

Should I or Should I not?

Today was the very first day of script checking... Was pretty ok with all my results except physics, real real disappointing.. Quite a few careless mistakes here and there coupled with the fact that some questions were absolutely preposterous, all aided the downfall of my Physics... Sian.. At least i know now that it is definitely going into my L1R5... Hoping for the best for my Biology, History and Geography results....

Anyway, after this, have been noticing that people have really picked up the pace alot.. Studying, alot, making sure A1s would be on their report slip. Friendly competition has probably escalated and had spread to many in 3-8... Good or Bad i am not too sure....

Oh well, should i pick up the pace?

I should probably decide soon....

Was watching the new iPod nano ad... Song : 1234 - Feist



Haha really nice, probably a good idea and flawless editing... Anyway the song 1234 is also surprisingly quite addictive.. Was reading the iTunes music store comments when 1 person said "Corny is the new in" -- it seems so in this case... If i am not wrong, 1234 has risen up the billboards in a matter of a few weeks, seems it is really popular... Heres the music video....

iPod touch!

Didn't know that it was so slim till i had seen it with my very eyes... It seems pretty thick on the website when i saw it with my very eyes... Wow! It is damn bloody thin... 8mm.... -_-

Anyway, the features are extremely good, the touch screen just tempts you to probably just touch and navigate through your iPod touch when there is no need for you to... The touch screen is extremely smooth and attractive... really tempts your fingers to touch it.... The overall layout is also decent and simple to use... Real nice.... Oh and many people say that it lags.. Didn't feel it when i used it though....

Only downside would be the steep price and the limited capacity that is offers... 16GB.. Shove in a few movies and your whole music album and there goes your iPod... I suppose Apple will come up with a new version soon?

Yes, yes finally, finally i am actually updating something on this blog...

Sorry for neglecting, but really could not find time to update my blog and also at times the temptation of games and soccer would elude me from blogging...

Oh well, who cares, back to blogging anyway.... Shall not talk about things that have happened since i last blogged for the timespan was extremely long....

Final years have actually and finally ended! What a blessing! I suppose i would definitely enjoy myself to the fullest for the next few days before deciding to do something about the standard of my chinese....

Past few days have been going to school to simply shut my ears off and just sit there doing nothing... Had a good session of gaming a few days ago whereby i chionged around 4 hours of games, had done great deal of relaxation for me.... Then came the wonderful Inter-CCA soccer, consisting of Me, Jit Hin, Hua Peng, Darrren Choong, Paris, Zhi Qun, Donovan, Johnervan... together with our coach, Shawn Teo (lol). I must admit we were pretty nervous in the run-up to the competition as we have never played together as a team before and playing together against teams that have team spirit like the WuShu and CO were not easy tasks...

Oh well we had just gave our best shot, i think around half and hour before the match started we had done some warm up and had definitely increased the chemistry in the team. In the end, we had defeated wushu 2-0 and Chinese Orchestra 7-4 (ferocious match)... What is in our way to the top of the table would just be the matches between us and NCC Air together with NPCC... Hope we do win....

Farewell Assembly.

Call me slack or anything, but i don't suppose you would be willing to stay in the class for 3 straight hours on a chair listening to intensive chinese? Ok, my chinese is weak, but at least i bothered to listen for 2hours right?

Anyway, after 2hours of intensive chinese, i went off to set-up for the farewell assembly, i remembered last year when i had done the same duty, the spirit of the secondary 4s was immense and i can say the same about the sec4 batch this year.



After attending the farewell assembly, i think i have learnt something, which is to seriously cherish the last year that i have here in Cat High. For once i leave Cat High, things like skipping lessons, smsing under desk, tilting the vending machine, late evening soccer, etc etc are going to be embedded in my memory once i leave cat high... For sure



Lets hope i will constantly update.... =)
