Got the time.

But not the content.

Have been wanting to blog about random things that have happened recently, but well, have not found time for those senseless ramblings. Now, having the time to do so, I simply forgot what I had wanted to blog about.

Besides all that, have been going back to school for the past 2 to 3 days for the usual CHMA work. I guess the work really intensifies in the last few weeks like an exponential graph! Haha!

I would probably be waking up roughy in the 70th minute to catch some parts of Euro 2008! Maybe it will extend into extra time? Maybe Not? Or Maybe Penalties?

Hope Spain will win, if they do so, I will watch the prize presentation. If not, I certainly would be reluctant to have red, black and yellow fill my screen early in the morning.

Almost midnight, and almost the next day, which would mark the start of the heart-pounding script checking. Hopefully the grades would not leave me in despair!

And Last but not least!

DO give us your support!

Old is New?

Recently everything seemed as if old is the new 'new'.

Example?

Just for EURO 2008, Nike came up with new shoes for most of their 'clients'. www.footy-boots.com

Since Ronaldo ran out at the 1998 World Cup finals in his yellow Nike creations, brightly coloured football boots have become the norm. Indeed, it’s now a rarity these days to see a player turning out in plain football boots anymore.

But at Euro 2008, the players contracted to Nike, with the exception of Cristiano Ronaldo, are going to change all that as they wear special edition Nike football boots brown football boots created in close accordance to the tournament’s location.

The collection is inspired by the host countries of the 2008 European Championships (Austria & Switzerland) and the style of football boots seen on-field during the 1954 World Cup in Switzerland.

The Mercurial Vapor, the T90 Laser and Tiempo will all incorporate clean and technical outsole plates in a vivid blue, contrasted with vintage soft & crafted chocolate brown leather. Each football boot has a different tonal laser graphic on the heel to represent the location of this summer’s tournament and it is also screened in the sockliner.

Quite innovative for a publicity stunt. In fact the new ones look good, carrying a vintage style with them. But what had me puzzled was that why had the world's most prolific player not taken up the new boots?

An obvious case of biasness? Ronaldo wore pine-green coloured shoes for EURO 2008 while the rest wore the brown leather ones. An air of arrogance?

Besides all that!

Our Lives

Was browsing through the iTunes library when I chanced upon this.

I remember hearing it sometime back. But glad that I found the song. =)

Cause these are the days worth living
These are the years we're given
And these are the moments
These are the times
Let's make the best out of our lives...
Felt that the lyrics are extremely meaningful and are suitable for the situation that we are currently 'stuck' in. Yeah, yeah, we always complain about the homework, complain about the revision, complain about having no time to relax, to have a breather. Instead, I would want to stay here. Stay in this time. This is the peak of our lives! Our Youth!

I remember Manfred telling me sometime back that there was a check that had showed that in one's life, the best time would be roughly around the age 15-26? Somewhere there. And I fully agree with it.

All the work, all the writing, all the 'mugging' are all going to pay off. Someday, we will finally understand and know why we had worked so hard in our youths, to allow us to have a good life. Cliche as it may seem, it will be factual if you ponder about it hard enough.

Having mentioned that, of course, relaxing, soccer, going out are definitely ingredients to what would be a good and memorable time in our Secondary and Tertiary education.

For crying out loud!

I want the one week holiday that the school has promised to 'gift' to us in the first week of Term 3! Have been hearing rumors that we are NOT going to get it! S***. I want the holidays!

The school should think of it in the long run. If there are going to 'chiong' us and 'hammer' us now, I don't reckon that it will pay off, considering that many in the triple science classes and some in the other classes will eventually 'burnout'.

For the Long Run people!

Contradictory to the post.

But a Good Song

If all progress comes to a standstill.

EURO 2008

Pissed.

Paid quite an amount (forgotten how much), only to realise that i will not be watching many matches of EURO 2008.

Firstly, Prelims. Due to the immense preparation of the prelims, I would probably have little time to even try to watch the matches that are supposedly around 12am. 12am! WTH?

12am means that the match will end at 2am, and even if I get a 8-hour sleep, I doubt I would have enough energy the next day to study. HOWEVER, I simply cannot miss matches between countries such as

France Vs Holland. Holland Vs Italy...

and the replay of the World Cup finals : France and Italy!

These 3 group matches will leave me awake till 2.

Besides all that I am pretty glad that I would be able to watch the Semis, and the Finals. But that has also got me pissed.

Starhub has announced that they will be allowing anyone who is a Starhub subscriber to watch the Semi-Finals and the Finals... WTH.

Then what about those that have paid for the EURO 2008? Won't they lose out?

Besides all that, love some jerseys that the various countries don...

Henry!
Van Nistelrooy, Manu shouldn't have sold him.... Tsk tsk, Fergie and his pride
Cesc! Imagine Nasri playing with him in the next season!
Argubaly the best striker in the world, along with the likes of Benzema
And who am I to leave out the Star of Euro 2008. The one everyone is fighting over and is being scrutinized by managers alike.

Cristiano Ronaldo.

Hope EURO 2008 is a Blast!

Can't wait to get my hands on the game!
