ok, so again my computer had almost crashed again. I am now typing at super high speed to avoid another system lock up AGAIN. Heres what happened...

I was listening to music when the whole system just freaking locked- up, dunno what problem. Well Microsoft, what the hell is your problem? Hanging and hanging, it is not fun to have this happening!!!

1st Inicident of Computer Hanging: So that time abt the end of last year, my computer just cannot boot and there was the irritating blue-screen-of-death. WTF. I remember what I did was download virus upgrades. Then I realised something, everytime i updated my virus software, there was always something to update. So my hypothesis: Virus hack into my Virus Protection software, thus BSOT(blue-screen-of-death). When i told my mum about that, she would say: "no, it is you download alot of thing from internet. -_-''. Lesson learnt: Microsoft = Virus

2nd Incident Of Computer Hanging: So the next time was when suddently my computer just lock up. Then when i rebooted, got BSOT then suddently the computer reboot. Then my mum called Dell and they said hard disk failure. For details refer to one of my previous posts. Lesson Learnt: Mircrosoft, if you are going to produce your own operating system, why not create you own hardware? This way you are going to be more reliable and earn more money.

I hope this won't be a third time... Anyway message to BG: if windows vista is coming out, i BEG, BEG you please make it 99.9% crash free!!! Please!!!

I have been hearing this song countlessly. 'Catch Your Wave' by The Click Five. At first i heard it on TV, then i didn't know whether to buy the album. But now i got this song off the net legally, for those who want to know how ask me on msn. Still listening like mad, love this song =))

Honestly i felt that this was going to be another of those boring field trips, but i was wrong, instead this was one of the best trips ever...

So firstly, i kinda overslept by a little bit then i reached there late by a few minutes. So we reached there then we had met alot of people on the way dressed in different costumes. Then it was also when we had kept suaning and making fun of SW. Everytime we went past a cute lady, SW would just look at the lady for what 10sec and then look at another one.

First was the forum, quite interesting i must admit, listening to everyone commenting about the media in Singapore. But it was also then when we had realised that we had not gone for the workshops which we had prefered. We were all pissed, esp. Ceph and MC, not being able to go to Media Violence And Media Sterotypes. So in the end we all went to parallel sessions (a session which allow u to come in and out of any session anytime) except Joshua Peh (extra, go workshop). So our 1st session was on some reality TV stuff... We were all copying down notes (me SW, Ceph, MC). Then came the funniest part:

me & MC: yeah, not bad

So SW just keeps looking looking and looking

me: So u forget everyone in cat high already arh
SW: no lah still got VT
me: ST how?
SW: this one better, anyway ST leaving cat high liao so nvm

Who was the one who said that even though ST leave cat high he will still remember her? Who say one? Now after seeing someone better then ST, he heck care ST already... WTH

Then came this conversation...

me MC & Ceph: ok confirm we going to the movie talk ok?
SW: ok, the rest boring
cute girl: later i going to the sex one (talking to her friends)

me and MC were laughing like mad people who have can came out from woodbridge. SW then asked: ah? do u wan to change ur mind, the other one like nicer leh? We kept on laughing and laughing, damn funny.

So throughout the whole day we suaning SW like mad till he got damn pissed.
Then it was the forum, interseting again, with people from our own school, Kristiano Ang. Then there were lots of questions from the audience again. Finally I went to my grandmother's place to visit her, took a 30mins trip from Clementi to lavender.

So the whole day was damn tiring, haizz. then with holidays packed, i don't think i will have much rest

Holidays

This post is as simple as what the title is saying. The holidays are here and it is time to slack, slack and have a really good break. So here comes the analysis on this term...

This term really seems to fly past us very quickly, i remember at the begining of the term when the whole class had complained about being in a completely new class and not having our friends from our were previous classes. And that time i was the most pitiful, being the only person from 1-3. But know during reading period, you can hear the class being damn noisy and everyone talking and talking. Now the class sprit is stronger since the beginning of the year... Maybe because of the fact that teachers throw lots of projects at us? Or maybe it is just my opinion. Well anyway the holidays are here and everything has ended...

So holidays... For the 1st time, i realised that we do not have that much holiday homework after all.

English: Read book, project
Maths: papers
Chinese: sharepoint homework (should be easy)

That sums up that... Next Catholic High Music Awards. This is going to take up most of mine holiday time. 1st & 2nd weeks, recordings and tech runs. 3rd and 4th weeks are the rehearsals... Then school reopen, got 2 more rehearsals, most likely all the way to 12midnight again...

Next the best thing of the holidays, iShop!!! If you all still dunno what is iShop, it is the best apple shop in Singapore in orchard. And Mr Wang has asked iShop whether we can go there to 'work' and iShop has kindly agreed to let us. Yay!!! Imagine how interesting it would be!!! But sorry Ceph, remember Mr Wang doubting whether u can go?

Ok, so end of the term, start of holidays, be sure to come back often as i will share with u all my 1st experience on 'working'   =P

Typical Day

So today and yesterday were just plain typical days for everyone but these few days i keep staying back after school, these days are not so typical...

23 May, Wednesday. So 1st period we had maths, normal just that the chunk of holiday homework which Mr Teo gave us was just too much. I mean, 6 specimen papers to do is alot, considering the fact that I have CHMA to think about, need time to rest etc. But luckily, I found it on sharepoint, so i did some already =P. For the 1st time, i did not slack during IT, I was busy editing my project in the mac lab. Although the class didn't do (well practically the whole class), i had to do a nice one to prove that we iMedia people are not lousy at video editing.... Next, art period, Mr Lim came and told us our results, did not do too bad scored 41 and had 73.5 for overall, good already (considering the fact that last term i got 65). I remember telling YC that the eagle did not look like it was submerged in the water but he did not listen, if not maybe can get better marks... So science lab lesson, felt that it was the simplest lab lesson but had to leave early because got assmebly duty. Woah, assembly damn boring, hearing the speaker talk and talk is really boring. The whole school looked restless from up in the control room. It was also when I had realised that the primary school had much better equipment than us.

Wireless Mike Receiver ---- abiltiy to detect battery life, ability to see which mike is being used, easier to use
Walkie Talkie ---- Better clarity than sec school
MISC ---- Lots of useful misc stuff and a projector in the control room

Then, got Mr Chen competition thingy, if not for the air-con, i would have slept... Then I went to the studio, finally Nuendo can record again, yay =) , thanks to Lin De and co. But who knew after MC and I came came back from soccer, Lin De had said that the audio G5 had just crashed. Argh !!! Luckily, Mr Wang had asked someone to come down this fri and fix the problems....

Today damn slack, whole day the workshop and nothing else. Moreover, the workshop is playing a board game which is supposed to help us have better Finance Management... Actually, i thought of buying the game but when i remembered that my monopoly is now who- knows- where i decided not to buy. Maybe we found it interesting in the school because playing is the best thing you can have in school =P.

Singapore Idol

Firstly I have not been posting and this post is make up for what i have not posted in a while. Singapore Idol. Total comedy the auditions, laughed like mad while watching it so here comes the character analysis... Careless Whisper. People say that if one sings badly the person who says he is good is deaf. But in his case it is otherwise. Ok, I am sure that he had sung to his family members/friends and would ask them whether he sounded alright. And if that guy had the guts to come to singapore idol2 and sing at the same volume as when he sung during singapore idol1 it means that these family members/friends must have said that he was good. Here is what I have to say to his friends/family members: can you all listen to what he is singing?

Do-Re-Mi. Last year she sang Do-Re-Mi, this year she sings a song tittled 'Hero', i admit it is a better choice of song (obviously) but if the judges say you are out, you are out, no need to plead.
Nong Nong Ago. When i came into class on monday morning I heard Norman imitating that guy and singing that song to Eugene and I saw Eugene laughing like mad. Another case of family member/friends never honestly tell him what they think of him saying. A shout to all these family/friends: if you don't want to embarass your friends when they ask for your honest opinion you are going to make they them embrassed when they go on national television. So next time, if they are horrible just tell them they are horrible, if they are good immediately ask them to join Singapore Idol.

Kung Fu Rapper& Cowboy. Heard alot of commotion about them, but in the end i realised that Singapore are just making a big fuss out of nothing. But I must admit, who the hell raps and does kungfu -_-''. The cowboy's problem is somewhat similar to the Nong Nong Ago guy's problem, bad pronounciation. Imagine Mr Chen when he hears that.
Mr Chen:"You have bad pronounciation, must be because of your short tongue"

Now the last man on the list. Paul Twohill. I remember when I saw him earlier this year, I could not believe that it was him. I mean, he has grown a MOB of hair on his head which covers one side of his head. And when he was rolling on the ground (it was shown on sunday) he looked like a fool. I mean who asks the cameraman to take a video clip of himself rolling down and put it on national television? Btw, if he had said he was from catholic high, you can be sure that Ms Saras or Mr Lee would talk about it the next morning... =P

This post is not purposely offending the Singapore Idol contestants, it is just a piece of advice to you all =)

Wishlist

Now i have realised that i have lots of things on my wishlist, here are they

• Macbook
• New Sling Bag
• Phone with powerful camera + bluetooth
• iPod video

First things first, macbook. Today went to the sutdio, then heard from Ceph and Mr Wang that new intel chip apple laptop came out already. And the most surprising thing is that it is just S$2480. Compared to the macbook pro(S$4288), the new macbook is damn cheap. also considering the fact that the features are almost the same. Macbook pro is a steal. But now just need to persuade my parents to allow me to buy when Apple Leopard comes out...

Next sling bag. My sling bag is damn old, since primary 4 i was carrying the sling bag. Need a change. Saw a damn nice bag at converse at compass point last saturday. Going to wait for great singapore sale to grab one of those....

Phone. Hoping to get a new phone at the end of the year(since my contract expiring =p). Hoping to get a good phone with high megapixel so that can add more pics to my computer and vice- versa. But i don't want 3G. I mean what is the use of 3G, in fact do we have a use for it? NO ! So just hoping for a good phone that is Nokia. Something like K750i in Nokia version...

Acutally i not hoping for iPod video... Just waiting for apple to come up with a new iPod in which it can play DVDs record from media players just by plugging TV inputs to the player and your iPod... Well i will just keep dreaming..... =P

Horrible.

Just 1 word to describe today, plain horrible...

1st, my maths results. The subject I had the most confidence in has 'let me down'. I thought maths I could score some decent mark. And here I am just asking for a decent mark, not 30/30 but just a decent mark. Reason for 23.5/30 : Carelessness. Just plain carelessness caused me 6.5 marks. On the 1st page, i minus 0.5 marks for improper working. 3rd page got a question wrong (-2 marks) plus on the same page minus another mark for improper working. Then last question supposed to multiply 3x+15 instead mulitply 4x+20. SHIT. Just like that i got a dumb score 23.5 while the others in the class got damn high marks... :((((

Next. Studio. Actually, I had wanted to go to the studio to work on Soundtrack Pro and learn how to sync the keyboard with Nuendo. But first. i had wanted to delete the useless account created by John Lim (which was used to spite video crew but failed). Then it came out a prompt which had 3 options

'Delete Immediately' 'Ok' 'Cancel'

Assuming that 'delete immediately' was the same as 'ok', i clicked 'delete immediately'. Guees what happened next, everything on the desktop was gone. i Knew something was wrong. So i restarted the G5 in hope that everything would go well. Then the greatest ever shit thing happened, all the data in HD1 was gone.(all the recorded things, data files all gone!!!) I knew i was a dead man (luckily HD2 still got files, if not i would be gone). So I told Mr Wang about it, he scolded me (obviously) and then tried to backup the files. Now the backing up is in the process and i hope that all goes well.

Sorry Mr Wang, really sorry..... :(((

Has the common tests ended ???

Has the common tests ended? Yes it is after the common tests but, does it feel as if the common tests are over? Common tests over, teachers ASSUME that we got lots of time on our hands and they begin to bury us under heaps of homework. WTF !! When common tests are over, they should just guve us less homework and let us enjoy post- exam life. Instead they just keep giving us homework....

'Sports Day'

Yesterday was my little 'sports day'. After school i was supposed to do D & T with Benjamin, but then he say that he need to do art and it project. Then never mind lor...

So i went to the canteen to eat, here i saw YC and BFM playing basketball at the primary school basketball court with 2-3 people. So with nothing to do, I joined them. Playing full court damn hardcore lah, shoot at the opposing end already , must run back and help defend. At first we won 2 games then finally at the end they won 1 game. YC and BFM very tried already, so we go canteen buy something to eat and drink... Then we go to the street soccer court in Bishan to play soccer with 2-9 ppl there...

By the time we arrived, we saw WX and Clement leaving. Then we saw Jit Hin at the playground taking a break. Then, we started playing soccer =) . Then halfway through, some Indian teenagers (around our age) came and said that change team playing. If they want to change the team playing it is ok, but there were only 2 of them and they did not have a soccer ball... so a conversation started....

JH: U all got no ball to play, want to change team, cannot lah
Those ppl: He got 2 i got 2 what !!!!
BFM: then we play with those balls lah !!!

Then those Indian ppl (not being racist) got some attitude problem, they come into the court and push BFM. WTF !!! But BFM zhai, he never push back, then JH separate them and then we play match with them. Then those ppl want to act damn zhai, they say the 2 ppl against 4 of us. Since they act zhai so we play 4 ppl arh. Game started, we pass here pass there and those 2 ppl look like idiots running and chasing us, the most funny thing was that we were just standing at most walking and passing the ball !!! When we got the ball, those 2 ppl would leave their goal open and just a simple swing of the leg, the ball would nicely pop into the goal. Them came the funniest moment, one of them had asked the tallest player to come forward, so JH went up. The guy had tried to do a rainbow(a trick in which one flicks the ball using his heels from the back over the opponent's head) then the guy had totally missed. So kindly, JH let that guy try again, and again the ball did not go over JH head and JH just tapped the ball into the goal. LOSERS !!! =P. We were laughing at them. On the way back we were constantly suaning them like mad, =P.

If those players are now reading this (1 in a million+++ chance), here is a message to u all: Dunno how to play soccer well, don't act smart, 2 on 4, in the end u all got owned man !!!!

BTW, tomorrow Mr Teo say playing floorball.... Bring ur PE t-shirts....

Projects

Yes... It has been 4 days since the ending of the common tests. The class has been in a holiday mood for the pass few days, but good things do not last long.... Now after all the common tests, many projects have arrived and Ms Cheang announced that there would be some more class tests during this term... Damn.

D & T. Me, Zhe Wen and Benjamin still got lots to do for our project so tomorrow we staying back and if still cannot finish must stay back some more. :( Art project. Photo montage. The art project is going to be one of the most difficult art assignments we have. Must have hard and soft things in the picture plus must have nice poem also, so difficult... Some more background must not be too complicated if not the whole picture is ruined, haiz...

It project. This project is one of the last on my list of projects. This project Mr Mok also don't care. But I must do for interest and to preserve the reputation of iMedia. Our group is doing on soccer skills, most likely I will do the editing on Wed. Project work. Super slack. I know most of the groups in class have not touched on the project at all. Well this is my message to you all: You all are dead. Last week then I know that project work must pass up by this Thursday. So my group just do and do and do.... We all finish report already but have not started on powerpoint. Nvm, still can do....

Ok, back to gaming...

Back....

Yes, I am back again... After being isloated from the computer for 3 days, i feel terrible. Some may say that 3 days is not so much after all. But not being able to use the computer after common tests is just plain shit... After hardcore mugging during the common tests period, I am not able to use the computer, this feeling sucks.... Anyway, my mum called dell and they said that the hard disk is faulty, well it is about time to change my hard disk.... I mean using it for 4 years and having 40G of memory space is just too little. I had just collected my computer today and was happy to find that there was 80G =).

Finally the common tests are all over, no more need to do daily revision, no more late night mugging. And no more need to listen to some topics...

English& Chinese ---- still need to listen
History ----- next term geog liao =)
Science ----- u all know what topic we are doing next
Maths ----- got tution to help me

It after the common test and u are still doing your maths workbook. You say that it is because you did very badly in the common test. i admit that if one does badly during the common tests you have to put in extra effort, but this is not the right time. Its after the common tests and we all need a break so XRL, just relax for the next few days. If after that you want to study then go ahead.... no one is stopping you

I remember the time when i watched the videocast in the studio about somone showing that Bill Gates was actually copying Mac Tiger when he had done a speech on the soon to be realeased Windows Vista. (http://live.watchmactv.com/?p=154). That time i did not really think that Bill Gates would totally copy the current Mac Tiger, but who knew....

I had went to the Vista website to look at the features of the new Vista and i had realised that it was the same, only it was given different names and were given some better improvements....
