14 July 2006, 7.30pm, Catholic High School Hall
That day, the audio team showed their mixing skills
That day, the stage team showed how fast and efficient they were
That day, the video team showed that what they had done with their footage was as good as professionals
That day, the stage design team showed what they could do to a boring hall backdrop
That day, the publicity team amazed us with wonderful designs of the tickets, posters and programme booklet
Now, all iMedia's hardwork has been shown...
Audio Team / Stage Team:
Through out, we worked like mad people. It may seem easy to some people but it takes alot of preparation work. The people at the mixer seem to have a simple job by just moving the faders up and down and adjusting the volume. But they wrong. The men at the mixer have to make sure the configuration settings are PERFECT, nothing must go wrong, music must be played at the right time etc. On the day itself, i am sure that you all have seen that the mixer people were all very good. We the stage crew had the most tiring job on the day itself, and it really is tiring.... I am sure the audience would not have noticed this but we have only 10,
TEN people backstage. 5 on each side and i dare say that we were efficient... Before the show, it was kinda hell for us. We had to tie up 13 wires coming from all different sides and hide it behind the amps so that no one would see it. Then preparing people so that we would fast and efficient was difficult. An example: The switch between Yang Qin and electone, i am sure you all know how heavy the electone is right, it will take 5 people to even lift it. And at the same time we had to clear the yang qin and bring out the electone...
Video Team:
I dare say what they had done was pure work of genius and a work of art. The timings of the video were perfect, they had put much effort and work in... What else is there to say? Let the video say it all :
CHMA VideoStage Design:
This was the best stage design ever! The stage team spent much time working on it. Including preparation of the logo, and hanging of the logo. And if you all think that the lighting effects which had helped enhance the design's beauty were just a lucky coincidence, you all were wrong, it was all planned... Stage design, you rock !!!
Publicity Team:
The tickets you all hold in your hand during CHMA 2006 is designed by the publicity team. They seem to not do anything but in fact through out the whole period they are the ones who are slogging their hearts out. The "feel the heat", "come chill" posters were designed by them, the programme booklet was also designed by them.
It has been 2 whole years of CHMA. Everyone in iMedia worked very hard for this particular event. And i am sure everyone was happy that it is all over. I am sure that those who had bought the tickets were not disappointed at all. Next year, CHMA 2007 shall be better, i PROMISE.
See you guys at CHMA 2007...
