A New Year,

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

So it may be a new year, but it was the 31st of December that had got me reflecting upon the 2008 that I had experienced. Every single emotion that I had felt throughout the year.

So many events, so much nonsense occuring throughout the year. I am glad to be in 4-8. Glad to be in iMedia with pals I have known for 4 years. Glad that I am in CHS. Well and truly glad!

CHMA 08... It never fell short of our expectations, the last minute preparations, the crazy acts that we often committed in the hall!

The Class dump that bred maggots...

History lessons where in which we spouted lots of nonsense (especially the combined lectures in the LT.. "AH Manu Manu ah!")

Climbing over the school wall even when it was raining....

Ponning classes to go to the canteen to get food....

Bringing food up to class, even with the prefects knowledge.......

Camping outside the GO during morning assemblies, getting a few scoldings here and there.....

Going to Pri school canteen to get burger.....

Talking lots of crap during maths lessons.....

Attending the incessant English remedials that served to improve our, by Mr Heng's standards horrible English....

Staying back in school to study....

Soccer every friday.... Smashing the strips of metals that were fixed on the walls - Often denting them beyond repair....

Dreading the long Tuesdays that brought about huge amounts of homework that only served to make us feel our day was endless....

Making fun of "Bones Points".....

Sitting for the Prelims....

Last minute early morning preparations on the day of O levels....

Camping in the audi control room....

Queuing up for food during recess... Then later giving the excuse to the prefects saying that " The queue so long! How to finish my food on time?!"

Climbing into classes to unlock the door when Robin returned back to class late - the task, more often than not, fell to Joshua...

PE lessons, the times when I pinned my hopes that we would play soccer, but only to end up getting bored during rock climbing or to listen to Mr G. talk for hours.

Not to mention, going to Hawkerway for lunch when we were horribly frustrated with the canteen food... Bubble Tea....

It certainly has been a wonderful year - one of many firsts - friendships that began, and old ones that were strengthened... Ha, what a good year...

2009.
